You’d find it very difficult to find a bigger Star Wars fan than Kevin Weaver. A lifelong fan, Kevin has amassed a huge Star Wars collection ranging from posters, figurines, and comics to a newly remodeled Millenium Falcon hand painted by himself and Chris Lewis. Kevin has been a guest at WexWorlds from the very beginning, talking about the Star Wars universe, collecting on a budget, and his times in the American movie industry. Kevin has brought his ever growing collection with him to every festival. Last year his talk on collecting was recorded by Irish TV and was broadcast nationwide not long after.
Chris Lewis just might equal Kevin Weaver in his love for Star Wars. Hailing all the way from Wales, Chris is an artist living in Kilmore Quay and is the only ‘centurion level’ stormtrooper in South East representing the 501st Legion. Chris came to WexWorlds for the first time in 2016 as a representative of the 501st Legion.
Along with Kevin and our other 501st member in the south east ‘Tudor Davies’ helped raise €400 euro recently for charity. Often seen donned in his Stormtrooper gear, Chris has recently invaded WexWorlds, the Rogue One premier, and the Disney Store on Grafton Street. He is working with the WexWorlds committee to bring even more members of the 501st to our festival. Visit http://www.501st.com/ to learn more about The 501st!
